| Automotive LCA - The co-operation with FIAT started in 1995 and was aimed to apply the Life Cycle Assessment methodology to the car production system. Several projects have been performed also in co-operation with Fiat Research Centre, including comparison between alternative systems for engine blocks, the end of life management options of bumpers and car glasses at the end of their use-phase. | 1995–2000 |

| The co-operation with CSELT (now TelecomItaliaLabs) and the goal was to analyse the life-cycle of some electric/electronic products from an environmental point of view. The most important projects were aimed at the application of LCA to the “SIRIO 2000” telephone set and to another apparatus for telephone grid. A specific LCA database of main components for telephone apparatus/grid was developed.
