AISI 304 thermomechanically treated (AISI304tt)
- composition (wt%):
18.44 Cr, 8.51 Ni, 0.042 C, 1.32 Mn, 0.35 Si, 0.023 P, 0.001 S, 0.046 N
- These materials were studied as received and after heat treatment in air at 650°C for times of 0.5 and 5 hours in order to obtain a different degree of sensitization.
- The samples were ground with SiC grinding paper up to 1000 grade. A surface finish of 1 mm prepared with diamond paste was applied before each measurement.
